Author Guidelines

Before submitting a paper, be confident with this formatting style guide:

Minimum length: 3000 words
Maximum length: 10000 words

Abstracts should not exceed 150 words and present 5 keywords.

All the submitted papers have to be typed with 12-point font, double space, justified, no hyphenation, no styles applied.

References must be inserted using the author-date style.

Bibliographic references must be listed at the end of the document and following The Chicago Manual of Style.

All the submissions for the article section of the journal will go through a double blind review. In order to assure the proper review, please prepare your submission into two different files:

1) Full paper with no references to the author or affiliation (anonymous paper);

2) Cover page including the author name, the affiliation, and the mailing or contact address.

Submissions that will not match this requirements, will not be accepted for review.

The JPC can rarely charge some submissions before publishing, as part of its APC policy (article processing charge), that the author has to pay in order to have the paper published. The payment is not on a fix basis and depends on the length and difficulty of the text, on the work of our reviewers, on the corrections and amendments needed by our typsetters, copyeditors, and proofreaders before the publishing process is complete. An estimate of the cost will be sent to the author shortly before the publishing process is complete. Many scholars have the possibility to access grants and funds for paying their publishing costs. The fees cover the management costs of the journal and will partly be reinvested for issuing grants and funding young scholars’ publishing and research. The maximum cost is set to €950.

The author will receive updates from the editor(s) via email on the steps of the process of review, acceptance or refusal, preparation for publication.

Review process usually takes no longer than 4 weeks. If accepted for publication, the paper will be assigned to a future issue, in relation with the assignments already done, on a basis of first arrived, first served.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0) and the author remains the owner of the copyright.
